2020 Annual Meeting Registration Information and Policies
AERA Registration Customer Service:
Changes to your registration can be made online by logging in to your registration. For additional registration assistance, please contact Registration Support at firstname.lastname@example.org, (800) 893-7950, or (484) 751-5136.
Badges must be worn to gain admission to all events, including sessions, tours, and the Exhibit Hall. All attendees that pre-register will use express pass registration and pick their badge up on-site. AERA will not mail badges in advance. Remember to print your registration confirmation with bar code and bring it on-site to have your badge printed or use your smartphone to scan the bar code at the on-site kiosk. In addition to the badge, the Annual Meeting Print Program (if you opted to receive one), and a badge holder may also be picked on-site. Once on-site, there will be a $5 replacement fee for lost badges.
Guest registration is designed for the spouse, partner, or family members of the registrant. Guests may visit the exhibits and attend the session(s) in which the registrant is presenting. Guest registration is not applicable for professionals (including students) in the field of education research who will be attending sessions or presenting papers. Guest registration must be included as part of the registration of another individual. Only one guest is allowed per registrant. Guest badges will not include the guest’s institutional affiliation and “Guest” will be clearly noted on the badge.
Registration fees may be charged to American Express, MasterCard, or VISA. Purchase orders are not accepted as payment. Make checks for registration payable to AERA in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank. No registration or housing request will be processed without applicable payment.
Registration fees and/or Professional Development course fees will be refunded, less a $25 service charge, if a written request is received at the AERA Registration Bureau by February 28, 2020. Written requests can be e-mailed to email@example.com or faxed to (866) 518-9751. There is a $5 service charge for tour participant cancellations; the remainder of the tour fee will be refunded if a written request is received at the AERA Registration Bureau by February 28, 2020. AERA regrets that refunds for registration, Professional Development courses, and tours will not be made after March 1, 2020. It is the policy of AERA that registration is not transferable. For questions, call (800) 893-7950 or (484) 751-5136 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
AERA Green Meetings:
AERA strives to be an environmentally responsible association and we are committed to conducting our meetings not only to benefit our members and the local community, but also respecting the local environment.
The final print program will be posted to the website prior to the annual meeting. Be part of our Green Meetings initiative and opt out of receiving a print program. Make your selection during the online registration process. Use the online program and download the mobile app for free and use that instead of a print program.
